Musical 'Guys and Dolls' playing at Sandy Amphitheater
The Sandy Arts Guild presents the Tony Award winning musical "Guys and Dolls" through Aug. 28 at the Sandy Amphitheater. Tickets are $7-$15 and can be purchased by calling 801-568-ARTS, at Sandy City Hall room 310, online at sandyarts.com or at any Smith'sTix locations.
This oddball romantic comedy introduces a cast of legendary characters: Sarah Brown, the uptight, pure-at-heart Salvation Army type, out to reform the evildoers; Sky Masterson, the high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet; the sweet, but neurotic nightclub performer Adelaide and her devoted fiancé of 14 years Nathan Detroit, who's always trying to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game.
This spirited, toe-tapping musical has the classic songs "Luck Be a Lady Tonight," "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat" and "A Bushel and a Peck." Directing this production is Bruce Craven with Susan DeMill as choreographer.
Sandy Amphitheater is at 10000 South Centennial Parkway.
CAPTION: Evin Burtenshaw, Britani Cavaness, Skye Dahlatrom and Chris Angelos star in "Guys and Dolls," playing at the Sandy Amphitheater through Aug. 28.
