The Utah Arts Festival presents The Masquerade Party (formally known as Tardy Mardi) Saturday, Feb. 25 from 6 to 11 p.m., at the Salt Lake Hardware Building, 105 North 400 West.

It’s an evening of music, dancing, great food from the Art Institute of Salt Lake City, and just-for-fun casino games all to raise funds to support the artistic programming of the Utah Arts Festival. Slip on your best masquerade mask for a chance to win great prizes.

In addition to the evening’s revelry, join the 6th annual Texas Hold’em Tournament, in the same location, from noon to 5 p.m., with the final table dealing at 7 p.m.

A Masquerade Party Pass is $50 and includes evening admission, 10 points in just-for-fun casino games, food, soft drinks and one complimentary “adult” beverage. Texas Hold’em Tournament Pass is $50 and includes a seat at the tournament table, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, one complementary beer or wine and one entry for the Texas Hold’em Prize Drawing. The Party Pass Plus is $75 and includes entry to the Texas Hold’em Tournament in the afternoon, as well as admission to the Masquerade Party, 20 points in just-for-fun casino games, food, soft drinks and two complimentary “adult” beverages.

Party passes are available at www.uaf.org. All attendees must be 21 or over and have valid proof of age. All funds support the state's largest outdoor festival, the Utah Arts Festival, running June 21–24, 2012 at Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City.
