Every January, Utah's resorts offer Learn to Ski or Snowboard Packages that include the all-inclusive works: rental equipment, 2 hour group lesson (unless a longer time is specified) and a lift ticket.

If you haven't tried one of these sports, now is the time to do it. It's the best time for first time adults and teens 13 and older to get started. Some resorts offer the program to younger children.

Here's a sketch, but go to https://www.skiutah.com/deals/learn-to-ski-and-snowboard for details. There are lots of variations such as: Some resorts have black out dates and others offer the program on certain dates, so be sure to check into the deal you prefer.

Important: Remember to arrive 30 to 60 minutes ahead of time so you can be fitted for equipment.
