Entrepreneurs Joel and Jessica Ewell invented Idle Free Heat technology and UCAIR provided the funding for Granite School District to install the technology on 40 buses for the 2018-2019 school year. These are the first buses in Utah with Idle Free Heat technology.

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) now available to low-income schools in the Granite School District will provide free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students. The program will improve the student’s ability to learn, increasing their chances of future success.
