Free health, wellness classes for seniors at Optum Community Centers
Featured offerings include four-part diabetes management series
Optum Community Centers add diabetes management and information series to roster of free events
Across three locations, the Optum Community Centers offer free classes and activities covering a wide range of interests for local seniors 55 and older.
In line with their mission to support the holistic health of all our area seniors, the Community Centers are featuring a four-part diabetes education and management series, where attendees can learn about living with and managing their diabetes, and ask questions of the knowledgeable, expert Optum team.
The four-part series starts the first Tuesday of every month at the Layton and Sandy Community Centers, and on the first Wednesday of every month at the West Valley Community Center. Attendance is absolutely free and open to all seniors, but RSVPs are required – Call 800.286.5458 to reserve your spot!
The Community Centers are located at:
Layton: 2146 N. Main St. Suite 514 Layton, UT 84041
Sandy: 1403 E. Sego Lily Dr. Suite 100 Sandy, UT 84092

Optum Community Centers offer both medical and social care for overall well-being. The classes and workshops offered at the Optum Community Centers are free and open to all seniors – not just Optum Care patients – and provide an incredible opportunity for friends both new and old to gather, learn, improve their health and learn new skills in a welcoming, social environment.
