Utah Film Center's Through the Lens presents, "A Run for More" opening film at Damn These Heels Queer Film Festival
Through the Lens at Damn These Heels Film Festival: Growing up, Frankie Gonzales-Wolfe learned to be a fighter, but never imagined having a chance to make history as the first openly elected transgender official in Texas.

Utah Film Center is excited to announce its Damn These Heels Queer Film Festival’s opening night film, A Run for More, on Thursday, October 12th at 7:00 pm at the Jeanné Wagner Theater at Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
Presented as part of the Utah Film Center’s Through the Lens Fall Series and in partnership with KUER’s Radiowest, A Run for More documents Frankie Gonzales-Wolfe's chance to make history as the first openly elected transgender official in Texas. Unfolding amidst an onslaught of trans legal attacks, viewers are immersed in Frankie’s journey as she finds her voice, questions her relationship to the community, and tries to win an election.
We invite you to stay after the screening as KUER's Radiowest host, Doug Fabrizio, hosts an engaging conversation with Frankie Gonzales-Wolfe.
